Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Feb 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Path traversal in the Correos Oficial WordPress plugin 1.2.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. The descarga_etiqueta.php endpoint uses attacker-controlled path and filename parameters to generate a download path without authorization or traversal validation. No authentication is required; a crafted HTTP request can expose wp-config.php and other files readable by the web server process.
