Administrator command execution via unrestricted logfile path
Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
Command injection in Froxlor before 2.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the logging settings. FroxlorLogger accepts an administrator-controlled logfile path and writes log data outside the intended directory, allowing a Twig template to be replaced with an executable payload. Administrator access to the web panel is required, and commands run as the web-server account.
