Weak passwords via missing length validation

Weak password enforcement in phpMyFAQ before 3.1.10 allows remote authenticated users to set passwords shorter than eight characters. The user-update branch in phpmyfaq/ajaxservice.php accepted new password and confirmation values without rejecting lengths of seven characters or fewer. Access to the user-editing workflow is required, and the resulting weak credential exposes the affected account to password guessing rather than directly disclosing data.
