Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via unescaped search input
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in review_search.php in Online Flight Booking Management System allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The handler inserts the unfiltered txtsearch POST value into a quoted LIKE expression rather than binding it as a query parameter. Access to the search feature requires an application account, and injected queries can read, change, or delete database data.
