Authenticated SQL injection via clone-group post parameter
Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
SQL injection in WC Fields Factory 4.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to execute SQL. The wcff_clone_group admin action places the request's post parameter into a database query without adequate escaping or preparation. A valid nonce and high-privilege WordPress account are required; successful injection can read or modify the site's database and interrupt service.
