Information disclosure in Johnson Controls ioSmart Gen 1 reader before 1.07.02 allows physically proximate attackers to recover communication memory. The firmware fails to release card-to-reader communication data after its effective lifetime, leaving that data recoverable from reader memory. Physical access to the reader is required, and the publicly documented consequence is disclosure of retained communication data.
