CVE-2023-0234Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via unprepared activity-log filters

Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

SQL injection in SiteGround Security before 1.3.1 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read database data. The activity-registered REST endpoint places attacker-controlled activity-log filter values into an insufficiently prepared SQL query. An administrator nonce and cookie are required; crafted filter or paging values can delay the query or extract WordPress user credentials.
