Published May 15, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in the ActiveCampaign WordPress plugin before 8.1.12 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through crafted block options. The AC Forms Gutenberg block outputs its Additional CSS class value into page markup without adequate validation or escaping. Contributor access is required to store the payload, and viewer interaction with the rendered block executes it in the site's browser origin.
