Unauthenticated database access via Donor Wall SQL injection
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 13, 2025
SQL injection in StellarWP GiveWP before 2.24.1 allows remote attackers to read or alter WordPress database data through the Donor Wall. The give_get_donor_comments AJAX action inserts form_id, ids, and donors_per_page values from its data parameter into SQL without sufficient escaping. Exploitation requires a Donor Wall page, a donor entry, and its public nonce; successful requests can delay database queries or expose stored data.
