CVE-2023-0180

Information disclosure or crash via out-of-bounds read

Published Apr 1, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in NVIDIA Virtual GPU Software 15.1, 13.6, and 11.11 and earlier allows local users to disclose data or crash the host. A Linux kernel-mode-layer handler reads beyond an intended buffer boundary, but NVIDIA has not identified the handler or crafted input that reaches it. A local low-privileged account is required; successful exploitation can expose kernel-accessible data or interrupt service, with no integrity impact.
