Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Stored XSS in GamiPress – Vimeo integration before 1.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a shortcode. The gamipress_vimeo shortcode outputs its url attribute into page content without validating or escaping attacker-controlled markup. Contributor-level access is required, and the payload executes when a viewer interacts with the rendered Vimeo element.
