Published Jun 5, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in WPExperts.io WP Multi Store Locator 2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via a shortcode. The store_locator_show shortcode inserts its location attribute into page output without validation or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required to embed the shortcode, and the stored payload executes when another user opens the affected page or post.
