Protection mechanism failure in Google Chrome before 109.0.5414.74 allows remote attackers to bypass download restrictions via crafted HTML. The iframe Sandbox implementation fails to enforce a download restriction, but Google has not disclosed the defective check or code path. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled content, and the reported consequence is limited to bypassing browser download controls.
