Unauthenticated code execution via Perl eval injection

Eval injection in Proofpoint Enterprise Protection 8.20.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through the webservices API. The webservices component passes attacker-controlled API input to Perl evaluation without neutralizing code directives. Exploitation requires unauthenticated network access to the API, which is exposed only by a non-standard configuration; successful attacks execute code on the service.
