Credential disclosure via cleartext FTP and Telnet
Published Mar 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Cleartext management traffic in SAUTER Controls nova220, nova230, EYK 300, and moduNet300 exposes credentials to remote attackers. Firmware 3.3-006 and earlier and BACnetstac 4.2.1 and earlier offer only FTP and Telnet for management, transmitting credentials without encryption. Attackers able to observe management-network traffic can recover those credentials and use them to access the devices.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
