Unauthenticated command execution via Telnet and FTP
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Missing authentication in SAUTER Controls Nova and moduNet300 firmware 3.3-006 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands. The Telnet and FTP management services accept unauthenticated access, enabling configuration changes and unrestricted commands on affected firmware or BACnetstac 4.2.1 and earlier. Network access to either service is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants control over device configuration and command execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
