Personal data disclosure via smart-link URL parameters
Published Jan 10, 2023 · Updated Apr 9, 2025
Information exposure in SAP Manage Banks 800 and 900 allows remote authenticated users to disclose personal data through smart-link URLs. The smart-link navigation logic places personal data directly in the destination URL instead of keeping it out of URL-visible state. A low-privileged authenticated user must click the link; the resulting URL can persist in logs or bookmarks and expose that data to anyone able to read those records.
