Device reset via invalid USB reset file
Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026
Improper input validation in AVIBIAline and VibroLine Configurator 5.0.2416 through 5.0.2486 allows local users to reset devices. The USB password-reset workflow processes an invalid reset file as a reset instruction instead of rejecting inconsistent input. A target device must be connected through USB; no application privileges or user interaction are required, and exploitation resets the device and its passwords.
