Administrator session compromise via unencoded filter input
Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026
Reflected XSS in ApPHP uBidAuction 2.0.1 news management allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The filter form places the created_at GET value into an HTML input value without output encoding, so a quote-breaking payload can add an iframe event handler. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open a crafted URL and can expose the administrator's session or support phishing and redirection.
