CVE-2022-50961Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized display URL

Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026

Stored XSS in IP2Location Country Blocker 2.26.7 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through Frontend Settings. The URL field for the Display page setting accepts and stores user-supplied script markup without correct sanitization, then renders it on the plugin settings page. The payload executes when an administrator or another authenticated user visits that page, limiting direct reach to users who can save the setting while exposing higher-privileged sessions.
