Browser script execution via unsanitized testimonial titles
Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in RadiusTheme Testimonial Slider and Showcase 2.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript. The testimonial editor stores the post_title value without sanitizing it, and the preview renders the injected event handler as executable markup. Editor privileges and a viewer opening the saved draft are required; the script runs in the affected site's browser context and can read session cookies.
