Insecure file permissions in TeamSpeak 3 Client 3.5.6 allow local users to gain elevated privileges by replacing executables. The installer places client binaries in the user's AppData tree with file permissions that permit the local account to overwrite ts3client_win32.exe and related executables. Exploitation requires local write access and a later privileged launch of a replaced binary; the published proof of concept does not identify that launch trigger.
