Authenticated code execution via PHP page creation
Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
Unrestricted PHP file creation in kalyan02 NanoCMS 0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through page creation. The addpage action in data/nanoadmin.php writes submitted content verbatim to a PHP file under data/pages, where the web server interprets it as code. An authenticated administrative session is required; successful requests create an attacker-controlled PHP page running with the web server process's file-access privileges.
