Unauthenticated file disclosure via HTTP path traversal
Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
Path traversal in Skyjos Owlfiles File Manager 12.0.1 allows remote attackers to read device files through its built-in HTTP server. The server resolves GET paths containing repeated ../ sequences outside its intended file-transfer root and returns directory listings or file contents. Access requires the built-in HTTP server to be running and reachable; successful requests disclose readable system directories and files without authentication.
