Local denial of service via leaked node references

A memory leak in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to exhaust memory by repeatedly attaching crafted device-tree overlays. The regulator core's of_get_regulator() retains the reference returned by of_parse_phandle() because regulator_dev_lookup() fails to call of_node_put() after using the node. Triggering the flaw requires low-privilege local access and the ability to attach device-tree overlays; sustained repetition can interrupt the system as kernel memory is depleted.
