Improper BTF validation in Linux Kernel 5.16 through 6.0.15 and 6.1 through 6.1.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service. btf_func_proto_check accepts a BTF_DECL_TAG as a function-prototype argument type, after which btf_type_id_size reaches a kernel warning while resolving it. The path requires local BPF access, and the public reproducer demonstrates a kernel warning rather than code execution or data access.
