Kernel fault via unchecked allocation failure

Null-pointer dereference in the Linux ASoC PXA filter allows attackers to fault the kernel when a formatted-name allocation fails. The filter() routine in sound/soc/pxa/mmp-pcm.c passes the unchecked result of kasprintf() to strcmp(), so allocation failure supplies a null pointer. The public record does not specify an attacker-controlled input, required privilege, or whether the fault becomes a system-wide crash.
