Kernel crash via ignored host-registration failure

Denial of service in the VIA SD/MMC host driver in Linux allows attackers to crash the kernel during removal after host setup fails. The via_sd_probe() path ignores an mmc_add_host() error, retains the mmc_alloc_host() allocation, and later calls mmc_remove_host() for a host never added. Reaching the crash requires the VIA controller's host-registration failure followed by device removal; no network trigger is documented.
