Administrator command execution via template code injection

Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026

Code injection in 4Homepages 4images 1.9 allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary commands through template editing. The template editor saves attacker-supplied reverse-shell code in categories.html, which categories.php evaluates when a crafted cat_id request renders it. Administrator access is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the web server's privileges and can compromise hosted data and service availability.
