CVE-2022-50802Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated reflected XSS via unsanitized action parameter

Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025

Reflected XSS in ETAP Safety Manager 1.0.0.32 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through an action request. The ESMweb application returns the action GET parameter without proper sanitization, placing attacker-controlled HTML and JavaScript into the affected site's response. No authentication is required, but a victim must follow a crafted request; successful exploitation runs script in that user's site context and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
