Live radio stream disclosure via unauthenticated CGI scripts
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Missing authentication in Kantar Media SOUND4 firmware 2.x and earlier allows remote attackers to read live radio stream data. The webplay and ffmpeg CGI scripts serve stream details after a direct request without checking for an authenticated session. Network reachability to the embedded web interface is sufficient; the demonstrated requests disclose live stream content without changing device configuration.
