Log-file disclosure via unauthenticated directory indexing
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Directory indexing in affected Kantar Media SOUND4 firmware allows remote attackers to read sensitive log files through the web interface. The appliance web server enables automatic indexing for /log and serves directory entries and log contents without an authentication check. Network access to the appliance is sufficient; exposure is limited to information in accessible logs, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
