Unauthenticated script execution via stored username input
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Stored XSS in Kantar Media SOUND4 products allows remote attackers to execute script through an unauthenticated username parameter. The login interface stores the username without adequate sanitization and later returns it into an affected page, where injected HTML and JavaScript run in the victim's browser session. Supplying the payload requires no account, but a victim must load the stored content; execution is limited to the affected site's browser context.
