Kernel crash via unchecked bad quota inode

Denial of service in Linux kernel ext4 allows local users to crash the kernel by mounting a crafted quota-enabled filesystem. Ext4 accepts inode 5 as a quota inode after ext4_iget marks it bad, bypassing extent validation and feeding disordered extents to __es_tree_search, whose BUG_ON fires. Reaching the path requires privilege to mount the crafted ext4 image with quotas enabled; the demonstrated consequence is a kernel BUG and service interruption.
