Network flooding via unrestricted diagnostic scripts

Resource exhaustion in Kantar Media SOUND4 appliances allows remote attackers to flood arbitrary hosts with ICMP traffic. The unauthenticated ping.php, traceroute.php, and dns.php network-command scripts launch repeated ICMP requests without rate limiting or destination controls. Any network client that can reach these scripts can consume appliance network resources and direct disruptive traffic at an external host.
