Stored XSS via script-bearing XML uploads
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Stored XSS in Kentico Xperience 13.0.56 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via XML attachment uploads. The page-attachment and metafile upload paths accept and store script-bearing XML, which a user's browser later interprets as active content without effective neutralization. An account permitted to upload either file type and a user who views the stored file are required; script runs in the viewer's browser context.
