Local process crash via unsupported DMACR access

Denial of service in Linux 4.2 and later before applicable branch fixes allows local users to crash processes on ARM SBSA systems. The shared stop_rx path calls pl011_dma_rx_stop without checking using_rx_dma, causing the SBSA driver to access an unimplemented DMACR register. Reachability requires CONFIG_DMA_ENGINE and an SBSA UART implementation such as Xen vpl011; closing the UART triggers an unhandled data abort and process crash.
