Kernel resource leak via failed device registration

Resource leakage in the Linux kernel MCB parser from 3.15 allows local users to retain bus and device references after registration errors. In chameleon_parse_gdd(), an mcb_device_register() failure exits without put_device(), leaving the bus and device-name references unreleased. Reachability requires local low-privileged access and a failing MCB device registration; public records report no crash or service interruption.
