Local kernel crash via unbounded QoS value scan

Stack-based buffer overflow in the Linux kernel allows local users to crash the system through the HiSilicon QM QoS configuration interface. In qm_algqos_write(), sscanf parses a user-controlled string with unbounded %s conversions into val_buf, although that destination is only 32 bytes for input of up to 256 bytes. Reachability requires a loaded HiSilicon accelerator QM driver and access to its alg_qos debugfs control; debugfs is root-only by default, but mount options can broaden access.
