Memory disclosure and crash via unchecked block length

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel allows local users to disclose kernel memory or crash the system through an iSMT SMBus ioctl. ismt_access uses the user-controlled data->block[0] value as a transfer length without first limiting it to the SMBus block maximum, causing memcpy to read past the buffer. Exploitation requires local access to an i2c-dev node backed by the Intel iSMT SMBus controller; a crafted I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_DATA write can expose kernel data or crash the host.
