Kernel panic via DMA access after teardown

A DMA use-after-release in the Linux kernel fsl_lpuart driver allows local users to panic the kernel by terminating btattach. lpuart_dma_shutdown relinquishes the DMA channels but leaves the RX and TX use flags set, so lpuart_flush_buffer calls DMA APIs after teardown. Triggering the crash requires local access, an active FSL LPUART DMA-backed serial device, and termination of a process such as btattach.
