Service interruption via leaked CIFS transaction identifiers

Resource leak in the Linux kernel CIFS client 5.13 through 6.1-rc1 allows local users to interrupt service through file creation. The cifs_create() shutdown path returns EIO after allocating a transaction identifier but fails to call free_xid(), causing identifiers to accumulate. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to create files on a CIFS mount after forced shutdown; repeated requests can exhaust resources without reading or altering data.
