Kernel crash via cross-page signing-buffer write

Denial of service in Linux kernel CIFS encryption allows local users to crash an arm64 system through an encrypted SMB operation. cifs_sg_set_buf treats a vmalloc-backed signing buffer as a linear region, so scatterwalk_copychunks writes eight bytes across a page boundary. Reachability requires the CIFS client and encrypted SMB activity; the publicly demonstrated consequence is a kernel oops that interrupts the system.
