Kernel crash via unchecked synthetic-event string pointer

Out-of-bounds memory access in Linux synthetic-event tracing allows local users with tracefs write access to crash the kernel. trace_string passes an unvalidated user-space pointer to strlen() and strscpy(), which can fault during synthetic-event recording. Reachability requires local write access to tracefs; the documented path causes an oops, while Linux's security assessment also identifies kernel-memory disclosure and ring-buffer corruption.
