Atomic-sleep warning via nested incompatible locks

Improper locking in Linux kernel PowerPC PCI code allows attackers to trigger an atomic-sleep warning via unspecified vectors. pcibios_alloc_controller() keeps hose_spinlock held while get_phb_number() calls of_alias_get_id(), which acquires the sleeping of_mutex. The condition occurs during PCI host-bridge allocation on some PowerPC systems; published records describe only the diagnostic warning and identify no data access or lasting service interruption.
