Service interruption via PowerPC OHCI reference leak

Resource leak in the Linux kernel's PowerPC OHCI host driver allows local users to exhaust memory through repeated device probing. The ohci_hcd_ppc_of_probe() function obtains a referenced device-tree node with of_find_compatible_node() but does not release it with of_node_put(). Exploitation requires local access and the PowerPC Open Firmware OHCI probe path; accumulated references can interrupt service through memory exhaustion.
