Remote system panic via invalid RX descriptor

Denial of service in affected Linux kernel versions allows remote attackers to panic systems through Lantiq XRX200 network traffic. In xrx200_alloc_buf, a failed replacement allocation overwrites the receive-ring slot without restoring its prior buffer, leaving an invalid descriptor that build_skb later accesses. Reachability requires the Lantiq XRX200 Ethernet driver and a receive-path allocation failure; successful exploitation crashes the kernel without reported data disclosure or modification.
