Utility crash via unchecked missing pathname

NULL pointer dereference in affected Linux bpftool builds allows local users to crash the utility by omitting the FILE argument. The pin command passes the absent pathname as a null name through do_pin_fd to mount_bpffs_for_pin, which calls strlen without validating it. The reported consequence is termination of that bpftool process, with no kernel crash, data access, or privilege gain reported.
