Service interruption via tracing test buffer leaks

Memory leak in affected Linux kernel versions starting at 5.6 allows local users with module-loading privileges to consume kernel memory. test_gen_synth_cmd() and test_empty_synth_event() allocate 2,048-byte command buffers but release them only on failure, leaving successful module-initialization allocations unreachable. Triggering the leak requires permission to load the tracing test module; repeated loads can deplete kernel memory and interrupt service.
