Unauthenticated administrator creation via first-installation workflow
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Authentication bypass in General Bytes Crypto Application Server allows remote attackers to create administrators through the admin interface. The default-installation page accepts an unauthenticated URL call and repeats its first-administrator creation operation after setup. Internet-exposed admin services on ports 7777 or 443 are reachable without credentials, and the resulting account can redirect ATM funds.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
